New Belly Pics - Week 27

Here are the latest belly shots. I'm 26 weeks and 3 days preggers. What do you think - is it getting any bigger?

The Bean's Trip to Target

We made it back from our weekend trip to Target! Well actually we went to Kalispell, Montana, but the trip was all about Target.

Dan and I arrived Saturday afternoon, list in hand, and shopped till we almost dropped. We bought The Bean a car seat, a swing, a Boppy pillow, a Bumbo seat and some other little goodies like onesies, books and blankets. It's nice to finally have some baby supplies around the house - I'm inspired to start getting The Bean's room in order now. Watch out! The nesting has set in. :)

Here are some pictures of the goodies we picked up.

Treats for the Bean

Over the past few weeks our families and friends have given us some sweet treats for our little Bean. And they're just too cute not to share.
Mom sent the cutest little baby socks - they're so tiny and unbelievably soft. She also made me a pillow (with a hand-stitched message) to make sleeping a bit more comfy.

Dan's mom sent the yellow PJ's they dressed Dan in when he came home from the hospital (they're 31 years old!).

And my lovely friend Julie (who's also pregnant) brought back some Target treats from her trip to Arizona.

As you can see from the shots above The Bean is being spoiled already. :)

Belly Cam and Blogging

I've finally found some time to start blogging - I guess being too tired to go out on Friday nights has its benefits. :) I thought I'd start with the latest belly cam shot. While it doesn't seem to look very big in this picture it feels huge. At week 25 The Bean (as we've affectionately nicknamed the baby) is already a busy baby, kicking throughout the entire day and even getting in some belly dancing time during the wee hours of the night.

Sometimes when I get up through the night to go to the washroom The Bean wakes up too and starts doing some dancing - when this happens I catch myself fighting to stay awake so I can feel all the movement. It's such an amazing feeling to know that there's a little person growing in your tummy.
